Various deputatons called on G M Saroori at Kishtwar.


A number of deputations of Kishtwar Constituency like Padder, Dachen, Marwah, Nagseni, Palmar, Dool, Baren town called on G M Saroori, Hon’ble MLA at his residence at Kishtwar under the Chairmanship of Thakur Jugal Bhandhari, Mohinder Singh Parihar, Mushtaq A Hap, Noor Mohd and Ravi Kumar Shaan where they apprised him about the discrimination of various departments towards Congress Workers especially, in rural development department where the work is being allotted to the workers of National Conference violating all the rules of the department. The deputation of Marwah and Dachen stressed upon Mr. Saroori that the matter regarding embezzlement of Ration in Nawpachi be got thoroughly investigated and the culprits should bring to the task and the supply of the ration to the far flung areas be got restored and dumped and the supply of LPG, Firewood, Kerosene and electricity be made available. They further alleged that most of job card holders under Mahatma Gandhi NREG Scheme are being ignored on the ground level during the execution of the works on the basis they are affiliated with Congress party.

G M Saroori after patient hearing assured the deputations that their problems will be brought into the kind notice of Hon’ble Chief Minister for personal intervention and the concerned District Administration.

Saroori interacted with Interlocutors at Kishtwar called for setting up three separate Hill Development Council for Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban


Interlocutors appointed by the Government of India headed by the eminent journalist Dilip Padgaonkar, former Information Commissioner M.M Ansari and noted academician Radha Kumar visited Kishtwar and interacted with delegation which was led by Former Minister R&B & Mechanical and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, joined by Jugal Bhandari.

  • Mr. Saroori called for setting up three separate Hill Development Councils for Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts on the pattern of Leh and Kargil.
  • Mr Saroori called for implementation of all five Working Groups reports, which have been submitted to the Prime Ministers and C. Rangarajan Committee report.

  • Mr Saroori opposed trifurcation of the State, no change in Line of Control (LoC), strengthening of Article 370.

  • Mr Saroori also demanded more funds for tourism sector, increasing road connectivity and raising job opportunities for the youth of the district. He alleged neglect of Kishtwar in development, employment and tourism front.

Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik was also present with the delegation.

Interlocutors held detailed and threadbare discussions with the delegation and appraised the delegation that all the suggestions and proposals submitted by them will be taken into consideration. The panel gave patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that all their genuine demands will be taken into consideration.

Saroori and Wani condole the death of Ch Nazir Ahmed Younger brother of Vice Chairman of Gujjar & Bakarwal


GM Saroori MLA Inderwal and Abdul Majid Wani has condoled the death of Nazir Ahmed younger brother of Ch. Bashir Ahmed Naaz-vice chairman of state gujjar & bakerwal board, who breathed his last today, due to heart attack He was 42.

The deep shock and grief was expressed on the sad and untimely demise of Ch. Nazir Ahmed. Both conveyed heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul in heaven.

Saroori and Wani while conveying his condolences to Bashir Ahmed Naaz, prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.

Saroori visited various area of Inderwal Constituency urged people to make landslide victory in commencing Panchayat Polls

 

 

The former R&B Minister and MLA, Inderwal Ghulam Mohd Saroori addressing the meetings as a part to strengthen Congress party at gross root level and to make landslide victory in commencing Panchayat Polls.


Saroori today visited Kandoth, Prem Nagar, Thatri, Drabshalla area of Inderwal constituency and queried about the welfare of the people of the area.

Saroori also said that centre government had sanction various roads for Inderwal constituency under Centre Relief Funds {CRF} that state government had send them a proposal when i was Minister at that time. Inderwal constituency had not to worry about the connectivity now we have to only complete these roads with in a spam of time. He also urged leaders should be focused / promoted for Panchayat elections, so that benefits of central sponsored schemes should touch the needy and poor people of rural areas.

Saroori raised the general public related matters during the discussion held demands on grants for various departments

G M Saroori, MLA Inderwal, Former Minister has raised the general public related matters during the discussion held demands on grants for various departments under the kind control of Hon’ble Chief Minister today.
Mr. Saroori briefed the august house in respect of the matters like

1. Air strip for Kishtwar;

2. Preparation of projects to provide the road facilities to the un connected villages of Inderwal constituency under NABARD, CRF,PMRP;

3. Land compensation for ongoing road projects under various heads;

4. Construction of Chattroo Singpora Viloo tunnel;

5. Enhancement of wages of SPOs and VDC members;

6. Implementation of Finance Commission report;

7. Completion of Panchayati election up-to ending May 2011 before the movement of ST category people to upper reaches with their livestock;

8. Strengthening of social welfare board, khadi village board, kissan board, phari board and women corporation;

9. Degree College for Thathri and Women College for Kishtwar.

10. Implementation of decision taken during Cabinet cum District Development Board meeting of Doda 2007-08 held under the chairmanship of the then Chief Minister Jenab G N Azad for opening of 10 sub centre and 1 PHC in each assembly segment of erstwhileDistrict Doda;

11. Relief for damaged residential structures due to recent heavy rainfall in Inderwal constituency;

12. Implementation of decisions for recruitment policy under Fast track on District Level;

13. Appointment of Agricultural Technocrats;

14. Fire and Emergency services units at Chatroo, Khara and Bhalessa;

15. Up-gradation of accommodation of JK House at Delhi;

16. Allotment of vehicles for MLAs through Assembly;

17. Enhancement of CDF from Rs. 50.00 Lacs to Rs. 1.00 Crores;

G M Saroori also joined the issue with Prof Gupta, who had blamed first Prime Minister of the country and Congress leader Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru for the problem of Kashmir.‘‘It was not Pandit Nehru, who had succumbed to the problem. It was the BJP, which succumbed during Kandahar crisis and Kargil war. It was Indira Gandhi who liberated Bangladesh from Pakistan’’, Mr Saroori said.
