Jammu, Jan 25: - Senior
Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori on Thursday paid rich
tributes to Senior Congress Leader from Srinagar and MLC Sheikh Ghulam Rasool on
his 17th death anniversary.
Paying floral tributes to the Former Member of
Legislative Council (MLC), Saroori described him as a dynamic leader who was
always committed to the welfare of the poor and the downtrodden in the state.
Mr Saroori said he was a tall leader who nurtured a dream
of Peace, Progress in all parts of Jammu And Kashmir State and one of the most
respected Leaders in the congress party because of his total dedication and
devotion to the ideas of congress party which he followed throughout his life.
Mr Saroori said that the Congress MLC was of the view
that the power should not be kept in government offices, but should be
delegated to people.
Mr Saroori also lauded President IYC Loksabha Srinagar Sheikh
Amir Rasool who is now following footsteps of his father.
