CHATROO,
NOVEMBER 12: - Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice
President and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has expressed profound
sorrow and grief over the demise of Senior Congress Leader from Chatroo, Abdul
Salam Malik, who remains the President Block Congress Committee Chatroo for
over two decades.
Saroori
while speaking on the occasion of Nimaz-e-jinazah which was attended by
thousands of people here at Chatroo, said that passing away of Sh. Abdul Salam
Malik has created fathomless void in the political landscape of the Chatroo
which is not easy to be bridged. “Abdul Salam Malik was a remarkable
politician, extraordinary human being and a strong pillar of Congress Party”,
said Saroori, adding that his passing away is a colossal loss for the Chatroo
and the Party.
“I stand in
solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief”, said Saroori. He
prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of strength and
fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss
