Saroori greets people on the auspicious occasion of EID-Ul-Azha.

Kishtwar: - Former Minister and MLA Inderwal J&K Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has extended greetings to Muslims around the world on the pious occasion of Eid ul Azha, as millions of people performed the annual Hajj and followed the tradition of animal sacrifice set by Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (AS).

He extends greetings for a happy Eid-ul-Azha worldwide and wishes safe travels to those performing Hajj. This year, nearly three million pilgrims from more than 160 countries have gathered in Mecca to perform the Hajj rituals and stand together in prayer.

He hoped that this festival would further strengthen the bonds of Communal harmony, Brotherhood, Amity and Tranquility. He said that the festival reminds us to share our joys with destitute and deserving, and on this occasion we have to re-affirm to extend our helping hand to the people. He has also prayed for peace and prosperity in the State.

“On Eid, Muslims around the world will commemorate Hazrat Ibrahim’s (AS) willingness to sacrifice his son, and distribute food to those less fortunate-a reminder of the shared values and the common roots of three of the world’s major religions.

Saroori extend his best wishes during this Hajj season “Eid Mubarak and Hajj Mabrour.”.
