Kishtwar: - Going ahead with its network expansion, J&K Bank on Wednesday
opened another fully computerized business unit equipped with all financial
products and services, at Binoon Bunjwah Kishtwar, Jammu J&K.
Former
Minister and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori today inaugurated the branch at Binoon Bunjwah
Kishtwar in presence of Zonal President and DGM Kishtwar Mohammad Ibrahim, AGM Kishtwar
Mohammad Amin, Bank Managar Main Branch Kishtwar Azfar Hussain Mattoo, Branch Manager
Binoon Imran Hussain, other Managers, Staff and a large gathering of esteemed
customers and public.
Speaking
on the occasion, Saroori said, “J&K Bank is the pride of J and K State. He appreciated
the efforts of the Bank in reaching out to people and helping their economic
growth. It is the corporate
face of J and K with one of the best Human Resource under the leadership of
Chairman Mustaq Ahmed”. He lauded the evolution of the bank over the last 8
decades to become one of the fundamentally strongest banks of the country. He
appreciated the commitment of the bank to reach every nook and corner of the
State and exhibiting full zeal to sustain the economy of the State and bring
everyone under its fold. He further said that “This is a great
opportunity for the people of area to take full advantage of all the financial
services offered near their doorstep by pioneer in banking, J&K Bank and
they should take full advantage of employment generation schemes SKEWPY and
Kissan Credit Cards.”. Saroori
also stressed upon the banking fraternity in the State to improve the CD Ratio
and Priority Sector lending.

Kishtwar said “Our mission is to provide end-to-end financial solutions through
fastest modes even to the poorest of poor and to reach those who have not yet
reached banking fold.”
AGM
Kishtwar said “Binoon branch has been opened by bank for the convenience of the
residents, shop keepers, customers and public at large” he added.
Bank
Managar Kishtwar Azfar Hussain Mattoo said that “the bank is determined to
increase its reach in the State by opening new business units and installing
more and more ATMs.
Speaking
on the occasion, Sarpanch Patnazi Mohammad Iqbal Keen who was accompanying the MLA
Inderwal said 17th October 2012 shall be written in golden words in
the history of Bunjwah and generation after generation shall remember Mr
Saroori for his development in the area of Bunjwah. He listed various development
projects started in Bunjwah area under the dynamic leadership of Mr Saroori. He
said that various new projects have been started in Bunjwah area to generate
economic activities and help all round development and he demanded Treasury department
should be open in Bunjwah area and Tehsil status should be given to Bunjwah
area. Saroori assures that that
the desired issues will be given top priority. After that Saroori also inaugurated the Youth
Congress office at Nali Bunjwah.
