Former Minister and Congress MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori greeted the
people of the State on the eve of the festival of lights--Deepavali.
In his greetings,
Saroori said "on the joyous occasion of Diwali, I extend my heartiest
greetings and good wishes to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to those
living in elsewhere in the country".
"May the 'Festival
of Lights' illuminate in us more brilliance, bring in progress and prosperity,
wipe out the darkness of ignorance, ignite the spirit of unity and dedication
in our mission to take our nation to greater heights", Saroori said,
according to a Press statement issued from his Office.
