Electricity to left over villages of Chatroo by year-end: Saroori


Stanch NC, BJP, PDP workers joined Congress.


Kishtwar, July 02: - Appealing people to work for unity and integrity of the state Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Inderwal, G M Saroori said that the success lies in the unity in diversity and all of us should strengthen the hands of centre government as well state in proper implementation of developmental and welfare schemes so that the benefit of these schemes reaches down below to the masses living at grass -route level.


Saroori has said that electricity to leftover villages of far-flung and remote areas of Chatroo area of district Kishtwar will be provided by the end of this year under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) phase 2nd. He said this while speaking at a public meeting during his whirlwind tour of Chatroo area.

Saroori directed R&B Department to fast-track work on all bridges, roads and buildings so that they are completed well in time


While appreciating the efforts of the MLA Saroori, the people presented various demands which included opening of blacktop on Kurya - Dadpeth road, completion of Kurya Bridge and healthcare facilities and upgrading school.


The people of Dadpeth complained about lack of staff in schools and dispensaries as well as that of medicines in the region Saroori assured that he will look into the demands of the people and take immediate action so that instant relief is brought to the people


On the occasion dozen people from NC, BJP and PDP joins in Congress fold including Altaf Hussain, Abdul Subhan Lone, Ghulam hussain Sheikh, Jaswant Lal, Hens Raj, Ramesh Kumar, Jughal Kishore, Sushil Kumar, Chander Kant, Sarva Nand and others here at dadepath Chatroo, district Kishtwar


Prominent who were present on the occasion were Block President Congress Chatroo Haji Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, President Association Sarpanch Chatroo Tariq Wani, Congress Leaders including Mohd Ibrahim Sheikh, Nazir Ahmed, Abdul Rashid Raina, Abdul Latief Shah, Ghulam Hussain Molvi, Abdul Rashid Khan, Ghulam Rasool, Shafiq Ahmed Wani, Ghulam Nabi, Bushan Kumar and others.
