SAHARANPUR, FEBRUARY 12: - All India Congress Committee Speaker and Vice President JKPCC, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today said that Congress led UPA Government has ensured better development in the Uttar Pradesh State during their tenure and people should support Congress-SP candidates in Uttar Pradesh whose contribution in the State is exceptional.
While addressing the public gatherings in various areas of Saharanpur district; Saroori said that only Congress-SP can ensure better development in the State and Congress is committed for peace and development and this is the only agenda of the alliance.
Saroori reminded people that Congress led UPA Government has funded the State in big way by improving road, health, education, tourism infrastructure in the State in last five to 10 years. He said that Congress has rich and vast history of serving the nation and it has taken several revolutionary steps for the welfare of the people. He sought vote for Congress-SP candidates to ensure all round development, peace and prosperity of Saharanpur district beside highlighted the importance of Congress-SP in the State.
Differentiating between the Congress and the BJP, RSS, Saroori said that BJP and RSS have the agenda of flaring up the communal tension and misleading the people on the name of religion, caste and creed which disintegrate the society. He cautioned the people to remain vigilant against these communal parties which weaken the social fabric of pluralistic society of the state.
Cautioning the people against the propaganda unleashed by the disruptive force like BJP, RSS against the Congress and SP, Saroori said that the unscrupulous force appear at a particular season (during election) and try to spread false rumours and made an appeal to the people of Saharanpur district not to give an ear to rumours.
Assuring the people to further accelerate the developmental activities in the Saharanpur district, Saroori made fervent appeal to support Congress-SP candidatures. He said Congress party has experience of serving people for longest period in the country and people must support it and ensure the victory of its candidates for the welfare and prosperous Uttar Pradesh state.
Former MLA and Senior party functionaries, Balbir Singh while addressing the public gathering said Congress-SP is committed to the welfare of the common men and women of Uttar Pradesh state and as a part of the coalition government in the State, the party will work tirelessly to implement its welfare agenda,” he said and added that whether in or outside power, Congress has stood by the people of the State and never compromised on their interests and it would continue to uphold the same ideals.
President DCC Saharanpur, Shashi Walia, President CCC Saharanpur, Haji Bahar Ahmed Ansari and other speakers while speaking on the occasion appealed the people to ensure the victory of Shri. Naresh Saina, Shri. Imran Masood, Shri. Masood Akhtar, Shri. Vishwa Dayal and Shri. Nauman Masood from Behat, Nakur, Saharanpur Rural, Rampur Maniharan (SC) and Gungo Assembly constituencies with thumping majority by pressing the hand button on EVMs on 15th of February 2017.
During the six days-long campaigning, Mr. Saroori along with Mr. Balbir Singh, Mr. Shashi Walia, Mr. Imran Masood and other senior leaders addressed roadside meetings at Baniakhera, Deoband, Gangoh, Mujaffarabad, Nagal, Nakur, Nanauta, Punwaraka, Rampur, Sadhauli Kadeem and Sarsawan areas of Saharanpur districts.
