Retired JK Police Inspector Atta Mohd Malik joins Congress party

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 26: - Former JK Police Inspector Atta Mohd Malik from Hanoo Jakyas area today joined Congress party in Jammu. Atta Mohd Malik recently retired as Inspector in JK Armed police.

Welcoming Atta Mohd Malik to the party fold, Vice President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that after playing a brilliant inning as a public servant, he will contribute for development of the Bhalessa area and welfare of the people.

"We welcome public spirited, honest and missionary people in our party to carry forward the mission of the party with vigour and zest for making Jammu and Kashmir a prosperous, progressive and peaceful state is the party dreams," Saroori said.

Saroori said that Congress is the voice of people. “It has always stood for the people and will continue to represent the aspirations of all the sections of the society”, State Congress Vice Chief added.

Prominent among those Master Bashir Ahmed Sirwal, Sabder Hussain Wani, Khursheed Ahmed, Mohd Sharief, Dilawar Hussain, Ghulam Qadir and others were present on the occasion.
