Legislators and Senior Congress Leaders expressed satisfaction over the exoneration of Saroori. Demanded his induction in the state cabinet.

September: - In a joint statement several Congress legislator and Senior Leader of the party, Mastar Ashok Kumar MLA Ramban, Ali Mohd Bhat MLC, Mohd Amin Bhat MLC, Jahangir Mir MLC, Subash Gupta MLC, Naresh Kumar Gupta MLC, Haji Nissar Ali Ex Minister, Garu Ram Ex Minister, Dr Ramesh Chander Sharma Ex Minister, Yogesh Sahney Ex Minister, Ghulam Raza Ex MLA, Asgar Karbalaey Former Chief Executive Counsiller Kargil Hill Decelopment Authority, Vinod Sharma General Secretary JKPCC, Thakur Jughal Bhandari Secretary JKPCC, Mohd Amin Khan District President Kupwara, Mir Mustaq District President Baramulla, Hassan Rather District President Ganderbal, Brij Mohan PCC Member and other leader expressed satisfaction over the exoneration of Former Minister and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori. The Leaders have appealed to Congress High Command that Mr Saroori who have been cleared of all charges by the CBI should be inducted as a Minister for PWD (R&B) in the state cabinet as early as possible.

Senior Leaders also reminded the Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of his promise on the floor of the State Assembly of  giving back the portfolio to Mr Saroori, the day he is cleared.
