Many entrants join Congress party in Chenab Valley.


Kishtwar, 5 December: - Dedicated workers of different parties including Mushtaq Keen, Mohd Sharief, Abdul Wahid, Gulzar Ahmed, Nissar Ahmed, Mehraj Ud Din, Abdul Azeez, Ghulam Mohammad, Nadeem Hussain, Salam Din, Mukhtiyaar Ahmed, Ishtyaq Hussain, Gulzar Ahmed, Zahoora Begum Malik and others who joined Congress party in presence of Senior Congress Leader from Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Mohammad Saroori at his residence Kishtwar.

Welcoming the new entrants into the Congress party fold, Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori assured them to come up to their expectations and continue the developmental works and the welfare of the poor or down trodden people initiated by the Former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and Union Health Minister and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad.

''I am sure that with the coming of Mushaq Keen and others, Congress will be strengthened and motivated with his ideologies,'' Saroori said.

He said that the doors of the party are always open for all those who believe in the programme and polices of the Indian National Congress and have faith in its leadership. He thanked Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA Chairperson Smt. Sonia Gandhi, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for taking an initiative in the developmental works in all sectors in Jammu & Kashmir especially Inderwal Constituency.

The new incumbents attributed the reasons of their joining the Congress that the Congress party had always been very kind to people of Jammu and Kashmir. ''There are various reasons for us to join the Congress and we feel that only Congress alone can win by majority and form the next government in J&K,'' new incumbents said. They warned that the situation in the state is at a very critical juncture and only nationalist party can rescue Jammu and Kashmir from the ongoing turmoil.

They assured all support to the Congress and said they would work for the betterment of the party with dedication. They said they were impressed with the performance and working of MLA Inderwal G M Saroori and also Senior Congress Leader from Drabshallah Mohammad Iqbal keen which is also one of the reasons for joining the Congress party. They said due to working of hard working of Mr Saroori, the recent held MLC election about 95% votes of Sarpanches and Panches had cast their votes in favor coalition candidates.

Thakur Jughal Bhandari, Farooq Ahmed Want, Chowdhary Issaq, Noor Mohd, Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Piyaray Lal Sharma, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, Gh Mohd Masoodi, Akhtar Hussain, Tek Chand, Ashok Kumar, Mahinder Singh, Satish Kumar, Hens Raj, Ramnath,  Vinod Kumar, Mohd Sultan, Ved Prakash, Mohd Shafi, Abdul Kabir, Subash Chander, Shamasdin Butt, Zakar Hussain and others were present during the function.
