Azad got highest lead from Inderwal constituency

Jammu, 20 May: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today in a special message conveyed thanks to the people of Erstwhile Doda district especially Inderwal constituency by casting vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad irrespective of caste, color, creed etc.

“He said that party should regain trust and faith of people by involving more and more people. "We need to introspect deeply regarding the factors responsible for losing the trust of people", “Yes, there are lessons to learn. We have seen worst times, We have seen losses, but we have risen back. We still have six months. We will bounce back. It is going to be a tall order, but it is not impossible," Saroori said.

Saroori said it is the effort which the Congress workers had been vigorously campaigning among the voters. He said, like in this Parliament election the party workers of Inderwal constituency had worked hard due to their effort Congress party (Ghulam Nabi Azad) got 28,155 highest lead from this (Inderwal) Assembly segment.

He said leaders and workers had to work hard and remains closely associated with each other and with the common people in every area and at all levels. Workers had to show the same spirit and determination in the upcoming Assembly election which will be conducted soon.
The vote tally was whopping majority in Inderwal assembly segment. People have again reposed full faith in the leadership of Mr. Saroori. He appealed them to again show this enthusiasm in upcoming Assembly election to thwart the communal forces.

Congress party, has secured the 28,155 highest number of lead from Inderwal assembly segment in which Congress party got 39,351 votes, BJP got 11,196 votes and PDP got 1,871 votes out of 55,047 votes. From Chenab Valley comprising of 6 constituencies including Kishtwar, Inderwal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Ramban and Banihal, Azad has secured 1,03,103 lead. From Kishtwar 3,758 lead, Inderwal 28,155 lead, Doda 17,738 lead, Bhaderwah 23,186 lead, Ramban 2,942 lead and from Banihal 27,324 lead.
