Saroori on Monday condoled the demise of well-known poet, scholar, writer, and
author of many books, Ghulam Mohammad Butt Urf Ulfat Kishtwari who passed away
today after prolonged illness.
In his condolence message, Mr. Saroori said Ulfat Kishtwari contribution in enriching Kashmir’s modern poetry would be remembered long and recalled the proficiency of the deceased in Urdu, Kashmiri, Persian and English languages.
Saroori prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family beside this place for him in heaven.
