Saroori visited the house of Late Ghulam Nabi Qazi former Imam Jamia Masjid
Kishtwar to personally convey his condolences, who passed away on Sunday.
Paying glowing
tributes to the late Islamic scholar, Saroori described him as a towering
religious personality who spent his entire life in the service of the people.
“He was a treasure of religious knowledge and in his death we have lost a
person of great stature,” he said.
Saroori spent some
time with the family members and prayed that the Almighty Allah gives them
courage to bear this loss with patience. He also offered Fateha for eternal
peace to the departed soul.
Earlier Mr. Saroori
have also attended the nimaz-e-jinazah of marhoom Qazi sahab which was held at
chowgan ground Kishtwar.
