Kishtwar/Doda, December 23: - Congress party has greeted the people of
Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi
(PBUH) and expressed sincere hope that this auspicious occasion would be
the harbinger of harmony, peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In a greetings message issued here today, the PCC Vice President G. M Saroori said that the Birthday of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) provides us opportunity to pray and seek forgiveness and blessings from the Almighty for the entire mankind. “Let the day be harbinger of peace and development for the State and the Country”, Saroori prayed.
Saroori said that Islam teaches us the values of brotherhood, simplicity, compassion and morality, all of which need to be vigorously inculcated in today’s trouble torn world.
On the occasion, he prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people of the State.
