Green land public School Chatroo celebrates annual function day



 
Saroori nurturing spirit of camaraderie, moral values among children

Chatroo (Kishtwar), December 03: - Member of Legislative Assembly from Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Thursday observed that the educational institutions are granaries where future leaders of society are nurtured to shoulder the responsibilities of nation building in varied fields of human endeavour.

Saroori, as Chief Guest, was addressing the Annual Day Function of the Green land public school Chatroo in district Kishtwar here today sought better synergy and frequent interaction between teachers and parents for achieving the common objective of shaping the destiny of children and making them useful citizens for the society. “Without active cooperation of parents, the schools cannot succeed in moulding the younger generation in a better way”, Saroori said and stressed the need for periodical meetings to take appraisal of the progress achieved.

Describing the Annual Day Function as an important event for every educational institution, Saroori observed that it is an occasion for the management to look back at its achievements and failures in the year past and identify measures required for bringing about improvements in the future; it is an occasion of joyous celebration for the students who successfully complete their studies and also for their proud parents.

Saroori said that Green land public School is doing its best in nurturing the talent of the student and said he will leave no stone un-turned for the up gradation of this school besides various special programmes being organized by the school deserve appreciation. He also spoke high of the management of the school for extending all basic facilities to the students in the field of teaching and learning process. He congratulated the Chairman of the School, Mohammad Saleem Wani, the School Management, teachers, staff, students and their parents on the Annual Day Function of the institution.

Saroori also interacted with the students of the school and wished them a bright future ahead. Saleem Wani, Chairman of the School, presented a memento to the MLA Inderwal. Earlier, on arrival at the Annual Day Function, Saroori was received by the management, teachers, staff, children and their parents. The function commenced with lighting of the traditional lamp by the Saroori, Tehsildar Chatroo, BDO Chatroo, ZEO Chatroo, Chairman, and Executive members of the School besides distributed the price, trophies to the best performing students.

Meanwhile Head of the management of Green land public school Chatroo Mohammad Saleem Wani expressed his thanks to Mr. G. M Saroori, Tehsildar Chatroo Sheetal Kumar, BDO Chatroo Subuh Shad, ZEO Chatroo Fateh Mohd, SHO Ravi Kant and other guests for spearing their value able time to attend today’s function. Chairman of the School, in his welcome address, gave details of the endeavours made by this institution in imparting quality education to the children.

Galaxy of intellectuals from various strata were present including Tehsildar Chatroo Sheetal Kumar, BDO Subuh Shad, ZEO Fateh Mohd, SHO Ravi Kant, Haji Ghulam Qadir Wani, Altaf Hussain Malik, Santosh Kumar, Bashir Ahmed Malik, Roshan Lal Sharma,Chowdhary Noor Din, Ghulam Mohd Kohli, Ghulam Nabi Wani, Hafiz Ali Mohd, Mohan Lal Pandit, Mohd Ehsan Malik, Haji Ghulam Hussain, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Tariq Hussain Mintoo, Jawaz Hussain, Shahnawaz Malik, Mohd Akbar Lone and others were present on this occasion besides children from the school presented a colorful cultural programme.
