Abhishek Sharma to become role model and inspiration for many aspiring students tomorrow

Former Sarpanch Bunjwah and retired SFC divisional manager joined Congress party in Inderwal

KISHTWAR, MAY 05: - Member of Legislative Assembly from Inderwal, Ghulam Mohamamd Saroori today visited the residence of IAS qualifier from Kishtwar, Abhishek Sharma and congratulated him for qualifying Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam.

Conveying his best wishes to Abhishek Sharma and other candidates from J&K who have qualified IAS, Saroori hoped that they will become role models and inspiration for many aspiring students tomorrow. He said that Abhishek Sharma have not only brought laurels to his family members, friends, Kishtwar district but to the whole state as well. He described the Abhishek Sharma success as encouraging and remarkable achievement on the part of him and said that the youth are highly talented and can do wonders provided they are given chance to perform and demonstrate their skills in any field.

Saroori hoped that the candidates will emulate their success while disseminating their official duties and providing succour to the people. He also congratulated all the candidates from other states of the country who qualified the exam.

Earlier former Sarpanch from Binoon Bunjwah, Mr. Ghulam Rasool Butt and retired SFC divisional manager Mr. Abdul Qayoom Butt joined Congress party in Inderwal constituency, saying it was the only party that can "steer" Jammu and Kashmir to peace and prosperity.

"Congress is the only party that can guarantee unity of Jammu and Kashmir and steer the state to peace, progress and prosperity," Mr. Ghulam Rasool Butt of Binoon Bunjwah said after joining the party at a function held in MLA Inderwal residence.

Welcoming Mr Ghulam Rasool Butt into the party fold, Mr. Saroori said Congress was a "mass movement" which has stood with the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh during their most testing times. The induction of public-spirited activists will strengthen the party at the grassroots level, he said. He urged Congress cadre to intensify their mass contact programme and highlight the problems faced by the people at the appropriate forums.

Among others senior Congress leader Mohd Iqbal Keen, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, Farooq Ahmed Want, Tariq Hussain Mintoo were also present on the occasion.
