Demanded release of
compensation infavour of victims
MUGALMAIDAN, APRIL 21:
- Vice President JKPCC and Former Minister J&K, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori
today visited Dadpeth area of Tehsil Mugalmaidan and has expressed grief over
the fire incident in which seven shops and three residential houses were gutted
in a devastating fire incident last night.
“My all sympathies are
with the affected families and urged the district administration Kishtwar to
extend all possible help and support to the fire victims by way of providing
temporary shelters and items of daily use,” Mr. Saroori said and also urged the
administration to prepared the detail report of the devastating fire incident
and submit to the higher authorities so that Rs. 5 lakhs each as compensation
could be provided to the fire victims.
Mr. Saroori also
demanded immediate provisions for fire-fighting equipments for areas like
Chatroo and Kahara and said had there been facilities available destruction
would have been restricted. He also assured the fire affected families that
every possible help would be provided in reconstruction of their houses and
shops.
