Sarthal, February 19: - People’s Democratic Party workers from Sarthal of Inderwal constituency today joined Indian National Congress (INC) party in presence of Congress leader and Sarpanch Karool B, Mohammed Shafi Saroori.
All the entrants reposed full faith in the leadership of PCC Vice president G. M Saroori and pledged that the party programmes and policies will be taken to the people in all the corners especially in Erstwhile District Doda.
Those who joined include Sader Din Butt, Shahnawaz Ahmed, Shah Hussain Butt and Abdul Majeed all from Taandie Karool area of Sarthal in district Kishtwar.
While welcoming the new entrants in the party fold Congress leader and local Sarpanch Mohd Shafi Saroori congratulated them on taking the decision to join Congress party. He assured them that Mr. G. M Saroori local MLA will come up to their expectations and continue the developmental works and the welfare of the poor or down trodden people.
Mohd Shafi Saroori urged upon the new incumbents and the party workers to work with dedication and zeal to mitigate the problems of the people.
