Saroori calls advisor, seeks compensation for Bathri Kahara Landslide victims






Congress leaders visited the spot and met the affected businessmen's

Kishtwar March 13: Senior Congress leader and JKPCC Vice President Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today express his grief and shock over the damage to over two dozen shops in Bathri village of Tehsil Kahara of Doda District.

After hearing about the incident, G M Saroori took up the matter with Advisor to Governor, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and with the District administration Doda seeking compensation for the effected businessmen as well as the shop owners who lost their hard earning money in this tragic landslide incident that struck the area due to recent heavy rain and snowfall in the area.

Meanwhile PCC Member Sharik Saroori along with other Congress party leaders Asgar Hussain Khangi, Bashir Ahmed Sirwal, Zafferullah, Mehboob Mir, Mohd Ashraf, Mohd Iqbal Malik, Bashir Ahmed, Ghulam Nabi, Hafiz Imtiyaz, Ishrat Butt, Mohd Rafi, Saleem Zahoor, Mohd Yusuf and others also visited the spot and meet with the effected businessmen's who inform him about the losses to the tune of more than Rs. 2 crores.

The Congress Leaders assured all possible help to the victims in the need of the hour added that Congress party firmly stood behind them and will provide logestic and finical support to them in restablishment of their businesses afresh.
