Congress today has greeted the Jammu and Kashmir people on the auspicious
occasion of Nauroz.
In a jointly
message of felicitations by President JKPCC Prof Saif Ud Din Soz, Union Health
Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori
all party cadres, District Presidents, Block presidents observed that the
festival has both cultural and religious significance.
They said that this important day 21st
March is also observed as World Arbour Day, adding that one and all should join
hands in planting the maximum number of trees for preserving the environment.
They hoped that
this auspicious day would be the harbinger of sustained peace, progress and
prosperity in the State.
