One died, two other got injured Chatroo Tipper accident
Kishtwar March 18: One died while two other person got injured when a
Tipper in which they were traveling meet with an accident near Deller at
around 4.45 PM yesterday.
As per the details, Sand loaded Tipper bearing registration no. JK02F-9747 on its way from Chatroo to Chingham meet with an accident after the driver of the illfated vehicle lost his control and plunged it into 300 feet deep gorge near Deller village on Kishtwar-Chatroo-Srinagar National Highway.
After receiving information about the accident, police party from police station Chatroo, local people and villagers rush to the spot and shifted the injured person first to Primary Health Center from where they were later referred to District Hospital Kishtwar.
Senior Congress leader and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Inderwal GM Saroori when heard visited district hospital and enquired about the health of those injured in the tragic accident. He expressed his grief and shock over the loss of life in this tragic accident.
He also enquired about the status of injured and directed the Doctors to extend best medicare to them for their early recovery. He also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of deceased and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
Saroori has demanded release of ex-gratia relief in favour of the family member of the deceased and compensation to the injured being treated in different hospitals.
At Kishtwar hospital, one person identified as Mohammad Iqbal (26 yrs) son of Ghulam Qadir resident of Seva Chatroo succumbed to his injuries while another injured person identified as Driver Khurshid Ahmed (36 yrs) son of Bhadour Naik was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu in critical condition. Another injured Ghulam Hassan (25 yrs) son of Sana-ul-lah was undergoing treatment at District Hospital Kishtwar. All on board in illfated vehicle are the resident of Seva Chatroo.
