Saroori nurturing spirit of camaraderie, moral values among children
Kishtwar, October 17: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Friday observed that the educational institutions are granaries where future leaders of society are nurtured to shoulder the responsibilities of nation building in varied fields of human endeavour.
Saroori, as Chief Guest, was addressing the Annual Day Function of the Adarsh Bal Niketan High School Kishtwar here today sought better synergy and frequent interaction between teachers and parents for achieving the common objective of shaping the destiny of children and making them useful citizens for the society. “Without active cooperation of parents, the schools cannot succeed in moulding the younger generation in a better way”, Saroori said and stressed the need for periodical meetings to take appraisal of the progress achieved.
Describing the Annual Day Function as an important event for every educational institution, Saroori observed that it is an occasion for the management to look back at its achievements and failures in the year past and identify measures required for bringing about improvements in the future; it is an occasion of joyous celebration for the students who successfully complete their studies and also for their proud parents.
Saroori described Bal Niketan School as a historical institution which has produced students who have made a mark in varied arenas. He said that School is doing its best in nurturing the talent of the student and various special programmes being organized by the school deserve appreciation.
He also spoke high of the management of the school for extending all basic facilities to the students in the field of teaching and learning process. He congratulated the Principal, Roshan Lal Sen, the School Management, teachers, staff, students and their parents on the Annual Day Function of the institution.
Saroori also interacted with the students of the school and wished them a bright future ahead. Roshan Lal Sen, Principal of the School, presented a memento to the MLA Inderwal.
Earlier, on arrival at the Annual Day Function, Saroori was received by the Principal, management, teachers, staff, children and their parents. The function commenced with lighting of the traditional lamp by the Saroori, Principle and Executive members of the School.
Meanwhile Head of the management of ABN High School Kishtwar Romesh Chander Sen expressed his thanks to Mr. Saroori for spearing his value able time to attend today’s function. Principal of the School, Roshan Lal Sen in his welcome address, gave details of the endeavours made by this institution in imparting quality education to the children.
Galaxy of intellectuals from various strata were present including Hens Raj Bhutyal, Bansi Lal Aryan, Swami Raj Parihar, Vinod Bhandari, Rajinder Wazir, Akshay Sharma, Dr. Shanker Aryan, Somnath Sharma, Mansoor Ahmed Mattoo, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Bidya Lal Sharma, Mohd Iqbal Keen, Gulab Singh, Firdous Ahmed Maker, Suman Pratab Singh, Ravi Kumar were present on this occasion besides children from the school presented a colorful cultural programme.
