Demanded Chopper service for stranded passenger.
Jammu:- Legislators of erstwhile District Doda including MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori MLA Doda Abdul Majid Wani and MLA Kishtwar and Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today called upon Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at Jammu and apprised him about the situation arising out due to recent snow fall.
The legislators demanded for an adequate compensation to fire victims of Paddar Kishtwar, disposal of all pending SRO 43 cases of Erstwhile Doda District Viz Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban Districts, beside Chopper services for stranded passenger of Doda & Kishtwar. They informed the Chief Minister that as per special girdwari 60 to 80% area of erstwhile Doda District had already been marked drought prone and demanded 3 months free ration to the hilly & far flung areas of Erstwhile Doda District.
They also demanded the release of funds of various works under execution in different sectors of the all the three districts. All the three legislature asserted that the National Highway from Chenani to Nashri shall be handed over back to Border Road Organization (BRO) for maintenance.Chief Minister while interacting with the legislator assured that their grievances would be looked in to and will be addressed on priority.
