Saroori appreciated Administration for immediate relief to the Paddar Victims.


Kishtwar Jan 16: Expressing deep shock over the incident in which one Chamail Singh, his wife Sunita Devi, son and daughter have burnt while his another daughter Urmila Devi has received serious burn injuries in a devastating fire at Kadailoo hamlet of village Ligri in Padder Tehsil of Kishtwar Congress Youth Leader Shariq Saroori has appreciated District Administration for immediate relief to the victims.

Saroori appreciated District administration for immediate relief of Rs. 40000 thousands, 50 blankets, 10 Kitchen sets, 10 furnaces and ration @50 Kg/family have been already distributed among the effected families. Saroori had demanded an ex-gratia relief to the tune of Rs 5 lakh for each deceased and adequate proper health facilities for other who was injured in this tragic incident. He had demanded immediate compensation of the victim’s house so that they can build a new house.

He demanded chopper service be provided to the hilly areas for shifting patients to the hospitals for providing essential commodities such as Kerosene oil, cooking gas, medicine, ration in the erstwhile District Doda which has been cut off from the rest of the state due to heavy snowfall. The people of this area are facing a lot of hardship for want of the essential commodities.

Saroori has appealed to Chief Minister for taking immediate steps for restoration of road and electricity which has been snapped since last week.
