Jahangir Mir honoured. Jahangir thanks to G N Azad and G M Saroori for their kind support.

Jammu: Senior Congress Leader and MLC Council Jahangir Mir have been conferred upon with the most prestigious Bharat Jyoti Award and a certificate of Excellence for his meritorious services, outstanding performance and remarkable role.

The award was presented by Dr Bishma Narain Singh, former Governor of Tamil Nadu and Assam at a glittering function in New Delhi.

While speaking on the occasion Jahangir Mir said Unity and Integrity of every nation was a prerequisite for the economic development of a country. He said communal forces were the largest threat for the communal harmony and national security of India.
