Doda student found dead in Punjab College.
Jammu, January 22: - Senior Congress leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori on Wednesday shock and anger over the mysterious death of a Doda student in engineering in Rayat & Bahra Institute of Engineering and management Hoshiarpur (Punjab).
Khalid Hussain Mintoo, son of son of Raiz Ahmed Mintoo, a retired lecturer in Doda area of Jammu was found dead under mysterious circumstance and the college authorities and police brought the matter into the notice. He was in his final year.
"In 2013, four such incidents when a Jammu and Kashmir youth has died mysteriously. Expressing “serious concern over the mysterious death of Khalid Mintoo” in Punjab Saroori said that the amalgam had “time and again raised alarm that J&K students and traders working outside the state are not safe have been murdered under mysterious condition,” he said
Saroori
asked for the probe so as to ascertain the truth behind these sudden deaths and
also to expose any foul play.
“It is the duty of the government to provide security and safety to the traders and students working outside Jammu and Kashmir.” Saroori demanded that “the State Government should dispatches a team to Punjab without any delay or callousness to find out the details of this case.”
“Any non-seriousness shown by the government in this regard could lead to further alienation and sense of fear among Jammu and Kashmiri students in various parts of the country", Saroori added
Saroori
also condole the sad demise of Khalid. He expressed his heartfelt condolences
to the bereaved family.
He prayed to the Almighty Allah for peace to the departed soul and prayed to give courage of the family to
bear this irreparable loss.
