Kishtwar oldest lady passed away.

Kishtwar, 19 January: - A great-grand mother believed to be the Kishtwar's oldest woman has died at the age of 112.

Zunnat Beguma Dev passed away early this morning at 9:00 am at his home Akhyarabad in the Kishtwar district, Jammu.

According to records Zunnat was born on September 28, 1902.

Hundreds of people from Kishtwar and its adjoining area participated in the funeral at Kishtwar Chowgan.

Zunnat was also the neighbor of MLA Inderwal G M Saroori.

Meanwhile Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori expressed solidarity with the bereaved family conveyed his sympathy.

He remembered the departed soul as a noble lady who lived a pious life.

Saroori prayed to the Almighty Allah for peace to the departed soul beside a place for her in heaven.
He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.
