Saroori ask PWD (R&B) department Kishtwar to pay compensation in favour of Mohd Rafiq family.


Condole the sad demise of various people.

Jammu, 16 February: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, today condole the sad demise and expressed deep grief over the death of Mohammad Rafiq son of Abdul Gani resident of Sambol Chatroo, Pinki Devi daughter of Gian Chand resident of Kontwara, Sameena Begum wife of Mohammad Shaban resident of Thathri, Sarva Begum wife of Ghulam Khandey resident of Sirgwari Thakrie, Choudhary Sidda Gujjar resident of Londhari Saroor, Qari Zaheer Ahmed son of Nissar Hussain Sheikh resident of Tendla Bhallessa (Falls from a cliff and landed into deep gorge) and Ghulam Qadir son of Ali Mohammad Butt resident of Changa Bhalla (Died due to snow avalanche in Dudwaar area of Bhalessa)

Saroori expressed solidarity with the bereaved families, conveyed his sympathy. He prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed souls. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.

Saroori also ask the PWD (R&B) department Kishtwar to immediately pay the compensation in favour of 22 year old Mohammed Rafiq son of Abdul Gani resident of Sambol Chatroo in Kishtwar District, a labourer with R & B department while working on drilling machine on Cherhar-Bhunzwar road in Kishtwar meet with an accident and died on spot.

The deceased was reportedly hit by the shooting stone and after coming under the influence of shooting stone, he falls from a cliff and landed into deep gorge. Saroori said that the construction work of the said road is taken by the R&B department on its own and added that the road is being constructed by the department since last nearly two years, so it is the duty of R&B department Kishtwar either pay the compensation to the deceased family or give employment to one of his family members in R&B department.

Saroori also remembered the Shameena begum mother of Congress worker from Thathri Nazir Ahmed as a noble lady who lived a pious life.
