Saroori conducted an extensive tour of Bunjwah and Sarthal; redressal of people’s grievances and problems my top priority



Inaugurated Dashkrya shed at Lava Sarthal

Bunjwah/Sarthal, August 12: - Vice President J&K Congress G. M. Saroori today said equipping rural and far flung areas of Tehsil Bunjwah and Sarthal with all required infrastructure is his priority and mega-projects have been launched to upgrade rural infrastructure. He said focused attention is being paid to transform development profile of these areas which were lagging behind in the overall development front.


Saroori asserted that early redressal of people’s grievances and problems is his top priority and I am committed to ensure speedy redressal of grievances at people’s doorsteps besides committed to the people living in far-off areas of Inderwal constituency and all out efforts have been launched to address development aspirations of these people,” he added.


He was addressing public meetings here at Bunjwah and Sarthal areas of district Kishtwar.

 

During these public meetings, people projected various demands and problems of their respective areas seeking an early redressal of the same. MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori listened to the grievances of people and issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers for early redressal of the same. The issues which were brought to the notice of the Mr. Saroori pertained to improvement in the drinking water supply, road connectivity, electricity besides black topping on Dunadi-Bunjwah road and other basic facilities.
 

Responding to demands and grievances of the people, Mr. Saroori assured the people of these villages that their genuine issues would be considered and redressed in a time bound manner. He said he has already directed the JKPCC department regarding the black topping on the road but due to low rate no contractor is doing work on the said road. He said that he has already taken up the matter of blacktopping on Bunjwah road with Minister R&B and he is hopeful that Minister will take some concrete steps in this regard so that blacktop will be done. He said directed the concern departments to initiate necessary steps for early redressal of the genuine problem being confront to the public.

Saroori also inaugurated the Dashkrya shed constructed under his Constituency development funds (CDF) at an estimate cost of Rs. 3 lakhs at Lava Sarthal.


Later Saroori also visited the residence of those who recently passed away in Bunjwah area including Abdul Rehman, Haji Master Nissar Ahmed, Ghulam Hassan Keen, Saida Begum, Naseer Ahmed and others.


Mr. Saroori stayed with the bereaved families and expressed his sympathy and solidarity with them, offered fatiyah, consoled the family members and prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed souls beside a place for them in heaven.


He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss.


Prominent among those Mohd Iqbal Keen, Khalid Hussain Sheikh, Chowdhary Issaq, Abdul Kabir, Zakir Hussain, Ch Shafi, Bashir Ahmed Keen, Gulshan Ahmed, Balwant Raj, Qasam Din, Shamad Din, Tariq Hussain Keen, Ghulam Nabi Butt, Master Mohd Hussain Mintoo, Abdul Qayoom Gagroo, Khursheed Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed, Brij Lal, Girdari Lal, Fakeeru Chand, Jagga Ram, Kava Ram, Tek Chand, Master Ikhlaq, Mohd Amin Zarger, Zakir Hussain Hussain, Purbhi Devi, Ravi Kumar, Surinder Singh, and people in large were present on the occasion.
