Sarthal, January 26: - Several prominent workers of People’s Democratic Party workers on Tuesday joined Indian National Congress (INC) party in presence of Congress leader and Sarpanch Karool Mohammad Shafi Saroori at Ladsa Sarthal this afternoon.
Welcoming new entrants into the party fold, Mr. Shafi Saroori hoped they will strengthen the party at the grass roots levels and fan out in their areas to maintain close rapport with the people.
He said Congress is the only party presence of which is felt in every nook and corner of the state. He hoped that the party functionaries and workers will highlight the problems faced to the people and seek their redressal at appropriate levels.
Those who joined including Mohd Ashraf, Abdul Latief Butt, Irfan Ahmed, Neyamat Ali, Ghulam Nabi, Mohd Shabir and Ghulam Mohd Butt.
Congress leader profusely garlanded and greeted the new entrants into the Congress party.
