Saroori mourned death of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed


Attended Nimaz-e-Jinaza at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar

Jammu, January 07: Jammu and Kashmir Pardesh Congress Committee Vice President Ghulam Mohammad Saroori mourned the death of Chief Minister J&K Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, saying he always kept service before self.

"Mufti Mohammad Sayeed always kept service before self and carved out a place for himself in public life. The void left behind by Mufti demise cannot be filled", Saroori said in his condolence message.

Saroori said Mufti was committed deeply to pro-people ideologies. He made significant contributions to the state. In the death of Mufti, the state has lost a towering personality.

Congress leader also prayed to the Almighty Allah for blessing peace to the Mufti sahab beside place in heaven. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of Mufti sahab to bear irreparable loss.


Earlier Mr. Saroori flew from Jammu to Srinagar and attended the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of late chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar.
