Saroori, other Congress leaders condoles passing away of Khawaja Ghulam Ahmed Wani

Prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul

Kishtwar/Doda, January 26: - Vice President J&K Congress and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohd Saroori on Tuesday condoled the demise of renowned social worker and forest lessee Khawaja Ghulam Ahmed Wani of Bharat Doda and a father of General Secretary JKPCC Abdul Majid Wani.

Saroori said the demise of Khawaja Ghulam Ahmed Wan is a great loss for the Doda district. I stand in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief. In his death we have lost one of the tallest social worker who always worked for the downtrodden people of the Doda," the state Congress vice president said.

Ghulam Ahmed Wani passed away at Jammu after a prolonged illness. He was 90 and left with three sons Abdul Majid Wani, Abdul Kareem Wani and Iqbal Wani.

Saroori who is presently in New Delhi also spoke on phone to Abdul Majid Wani a state Congress General Secretary and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. I pray for eternal peace of the departed soul and grant of strength & fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss and may his soul rest in peace.

L Manhas, Hoshair Singh, Mohd Iqbal Keen, Asif Jahan Gattu, Riyaz Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Mehboob Mustafa, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Asgar Khangi, Iqbal Teli, Ghulam Haider Company, Mohd Aslam Malik, Khursheed Ahmed Butt, Rashid Mughal, Majeed Rahi and others have also expressed deep grief over the passing away of Khwaja Ghulam Ahmed Wani.

Meanwhile Saroori have also deeply condole the sad demise of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh Son of Jamloo Sheikh resident of Kuchal in Tehsil Mugalmaidan and Mati Devi wife of Sant Ram resident of Kharyan Chatroo, a mother in law of Congress leader from Passerkote Santosh Kumar. Saroori has expressed solidarity with the bereaved families and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family members and relatives. He prayed to the almighty Allah for blessing peace to the departed souls
