ex-gratia relief in favour of next kin’s of the deceased’s
Kishtwar,
October 27: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori
today expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of life in the unfortunate
accident in which three persons of village Tagood Mugalmaidan was killed after
a vehicle they were traveling fell from the roof of the matador on
Kishtwar-Bhandarkote road of District Kishtwar on Thursday.
In a
message, MLA Inderwal G. M Saroori expressed his sympathy with the bereaved
families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.
Mr.
Saroori also reiterated his concern about the pressing need for the Police and
Transport departments, as well as the other concerned agencies, to take the all
required measures, on immediate basis, to reduce the incidence of fatal road
accidents in the Erstwhile district Doda.
He
assured all possible assistance to the kin’s of the deceased’s and he has also
appealed to Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir to immediately release Rs. 5
lakhs ex-gratia relief in favour of next kin of the deceased’s.
It is to
mention here that the vehicle carrying the yatri's was on its way to Tagood
from Sarthal when the driver lost control while driving on a steep slope.
