2 died in an accident at Bhagra Sarthal



G. M Saroori grieved over the loss of precious loss

Kishtwar, October 11: - Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice President and Former Minister, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori today expressed shock and deep grief over the loss of two precious lives in a tragic accident which took place on Friday at Bhagra on Karool-Sarthal road in Kishtwar district some 30 kms away from the district headquarter.

After hearing the news Mr. Saroori who was in Kishtwar rushed to the district hospital Kishtwar to see the condition of the injured ones, “My heart goes out to the families of those who have lost their dear ones in an unfortunate accident”, Mr. Saroori said while expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, praying for strength to them to bear this irreparable loss. He also prayed for peace to the departed souls.

Mr. Saroori has urged Governor J&K Satya Pal Malik and his administration to take effective steps to check road accidents and pass the directions to the traffic department to take adequate and stringent measures to check the recurrence of road accidents. He also urged the Governor to provide adequate ex-gratia relief of Rs. 10 lakhs each in favour of the deceaseds family members.

A cruiser vehicle bearing no jk17-7075, ferrying 16 passengers fell into deep george. They were then taken to the DHK where doctors declared two passengers namely Kamlesh Kumar son of Dharam Singh, Pardeep Kumar son of Surjeet Kumar both resident of Paar Bhagra, Sarthal in tehsil and district Kishtwar as dead and 4 injured shifted to GMC Jammu for further treatment.
