Several delegations met Former Minister



Apprised him about people concerning issues

KISHTWAR: Several delegations from Sarawan, Kwath, Durbeel, Kuchal, Singpora, Chingam, Chatroo, Sarthal, Saroor, Bunjwah, Thathri, Kahara, Bhalessa areas met Former Minister J&K, G. M Saroori at his residence Kishtwar.
They apprised the former Minister about their concerning issues.

A delegation from Sarawan Thakrie put forth the demands related to compensation under PMGSY road from Shivnagar to Sarawan, early blacktopping on remaining road of Sarawan, water scarcity in various areas of sarawan Panchayat, curtailment of electricity, replacement of barbed wires and wooden poles, early clearance of MGNREGA liabilities and others.

A delegation from Singpora Chatroo, Chingam demanded to take up the matter with administration for early disbursement of compensation from Vohal to Singpora tunnel point, speed up of other developmental activities in the area.

A delegation from Simbole Kuchal raised the issues pertaining to speeding up of electrification in Simbole, Basha, Duggadda villages which stands sanctioned under Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojana scheme and clearance on debris on Simbole road.

A delegation of Bunjwah, Kahara and Thathri areas demanded speeding up the work of grid station at Bunjwah, early completion of Dunadi-Bunjwah road, construction of Degree College Thathri, compensation of road on Kahara-Challar road, electrification of remaining hamlets in Kahara, blacktopping on various link roads and others.

Mr. Saroori interacted with the members of the delegations and assured them that their genuine issues and demands projected by them will be taken up with the administration for their early redressal in a time bond manner.
