Jammu, January 13: - Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee, Vice President, G. M Saroori greeted the nation especially people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Lohri, MakarSankranti and Pongal and said these "festivals celebrate fresh harvest and emphasize the importance of sharing in our lives".
The Congress leader said these festivals were a celebration of the joy and prosperity which were ushered in by fresh harvest. "May these festivals bind each one of us in fraternal love and affection and inspire us to work for the unity, progress and well being of our nation.
