G. M Saroori took stock of the problems of people in view the heavy rainfall and snowfall








Failure of the BJP to fulfill the promises and its attempts to divert the attention of people from real issues



Sigdi, December 30: - To have a detailed interaction with the people and to have an on-the-spot know-how of their genuine problems especially in the wake of heavy rainfall and snowfall, Former Minister and J&K Pradesh Congress Committee, Vice President, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori visited various areas of Mulchitter, Sigdi, Supnaie, Seeri, Gwarian, Bhata of district Kishtwar.



The people present in hundreds at various areas put forth a number of public grievances.



Mr. Saroori took stock of the problems of people and assured that their issues will be taken up with the concerned officials for early redressal.



He said that the people of the country have been realizing the falsehood and diversionary tactics of BJP, as a result, the BJP is loosing state after state where elections are being held after the Lok Sabha elections. The failure of the BJP to fulfill the promises and its attempts to divert the attention of people from real issues like providing basic amenities to common masses at cheaper price, addressing of core issues have failed to hoodwink the people any longer.



Mr. Saroori said time is coming for the BJP in J&K as well to explain in the court of people as to why they failed in taking to logical conclusion various flag-ship projects like setting up of AIIMS and three Medical Colleges in the Jammu region, SMART City project, Water pipeline for Kishtwar, implementation of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana, Artificial Lake Project, Tawi River Front Project on the pattern of Sabarmati Project, widening of Batote- Kishtwar road and so on. He said no excuse will work henceforth, as these projects came under the direct control of BJP.



He also visited the Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch in Sigdi where some unidentified persons believed to be the burglars have made an unsuccessful attempt to rob the bank and after failing in its attempt decamped with the 12 bore rifle of the guard. He urged the police officials for time bond investigation and crack this robbery case.



Earlier Mr. Saroori along with Block President Mugalmaidan Ali Mohd Naik, Sarpanch Mulchitter, Rtd. Captain Amarchand, senior Congress leaders Naib Chand, Wazir Tak, Mohd Hafeez and others visited the house of a social activist from Mulchitter area, Shambu Nath who passed away recently after a brief illness. They said to the deceased wife that Congress party is deeply saddened about the death of Shambu Nath ji. Our thoughts and prayers are with the deceased family members and prayed for peace for the departed soul.



Among those Ali Mohd Naik, Bidya Lal Sharma, Shabir Ahmed Lone, Mohd Rafiq Shah, Abdul Rasheed Bhawani, Abdul Hameed Bhawani, Mohd Haleem, Mohd Iqbal Banday, Mohd Yusuf, Mohd Ashraf, Mohd Aslam, Bashir Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Ghulam Mohd, Ghulam Hussain, Khursheed Ahmed, Nazir Ahmed, Parvez Ahmed, Tariq Hussain, Abdul Wahid, Shabir Ahmed, Sajjad Ahmed, Riyaz Ahmed and others were present on the occasion.
