Newly created Tehsils Dugga Drabshallah and Bunjwah get Tehsildar

Kishtwar, August 16: - Tehsildars Niyaz Ahmed Wani and Ahmed assumed the office of newly created Tehsils including Drabshallah headquater at Dugga and Bunjwah of district Kishtwar in the presence of large number of people. Girdawars, Patwaris and other officers of Kishtwar accompanied the newly appointed Tehsildars.

People at Bunjwah and Drabshallah distributed sweets and danced to the beats of Dhols to celebrate this historic decision.

While addressing the gatherings telephonically MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that District Kishtwar is a hilly and backward area which needs focused attention of the planners for its speedy socio-economic transformation started by the Ghulan Nabi Azad when he was the Chief Minister of the State. He said that Mr Azad has also earlier also done a great favour to the people when he carved two separate districts out of erstwhile Doda district now comprising Ramban, Doda and Kishtwar districts. By opening of Tehsils at Dugga Drabshallah and Bunjwah has met the long pending demands of the people of these areas which would be a turning point as far as socio-economic advancement of the people of this constituency is concerned beside will help the people to get solutions of their problems at their door steps.
