Tehsildar Mugalmaidan and Khara assumed office
Kishtwar, August 11: - Tehsildars Majid Jahangir and Parvez Ahmed Shah assumed the office of newly created Tehsils including Mugalimaidan and Khara of district Kishtwar and Doda respectively in the presence of large number of people. Tehsildar Chatroo Ghulam Nabi Malik, Girdawars, Patwaris and other officers of Chatroo and Thathri accompanied the newly appointed Tehsildars.
People at Mugalmaidan and Khara burst crackers, distributed sweets and danced to the beats of Dhols to celebrate this historic decision.
While addressing the gatherings telephonically MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that opening of Tehsils at Mugalmaidan and Khara has met the long pending demands of the people of these areas which would be a turning point as far as socio-economic advancement of the people of this constituency is concerned beside will help the people to get solutions of their problems at their door steps.
Many speakers including Sarpanch Association Chatroo block Tariq Wani, Ghulam Qadir Tappal, Altaf Hussain Malik, Ali Mohd NaiK, Bidya Lal, Choudhary Nazir Ahmed, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Abdul Gani, Haji Ghulam Mohd Mir, Shameem Ahmed and Master Sikander Retire ZEO speaks on the occasion and said by opening of new Tehsil Offices at Mugalmaidan and Khara the problems faced by the local people will be addressed at door step, beside will help in smooth disbursement of compensation and other revenue activities in this backward and unconnected area of these twin districts.
Speakers and people of the Mugalmaidan and Khara hails the efforts of MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori in convincing the government for creation of separate Tehsils for Mugalmaidan and Khara which was long pending demand of the local people who faced alot of problems. They have also thanked MLA Inderwal G M Saroori, Chairman Cabinet Sub Committee & DY CM Tara Chand and Minister of state for Revenue Ajaz Ahmed Khan for taking initiative in opening of the separate Tehsils for Mugalmaidan and Khara in Inderwal constituency.
