Saroori inspected construction of road at Saroor

Visited to the residences who recently passed away

Tatani (Kishtwar), August 03: - To ensure timely completion of ongoing road projects in the Inderwal constituency MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori today visited Saroor area of district Kishtwar and inspected ongoing construction work of Chalasu-Tatani road, taken up under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) scheme at an estimated cost of Rs 8.44 crore.

“Interacting with the engineers, Saroori asked them to speed up the land acquisition, required for the purpose, and ensure that project is completed well in time,” MLA Inderwal said. Mr. Saroori was informed that Rs 3 crore have been expended on the project so far and is expected to be completed ahead of its schedule.

Underling need for applying double shift methods, Saroori asked the engineers to accelerate work on other projects as well, taken up in the area, in view of the limited working season. He asked the engineers to ensure constant monitoring on all the projects to avoid delay in completion besides checking the usage of qualitative material as per specifications. “There would be no compromise on quality of work,” Saroori said.

He directed JKPCC department to complete the surveys of 4.96 crore Tatani-Sharoute road via Bimalnag and 15 crore Tatani-Bangar road project which UPA II sanctioned under CRF which was the long pending demand of the area.

Seeking people’s cooperation in implementing the developmental programmes, Saroori said projects taken in hand on completion would change the socio- economic profile of the people of the area. He said the existing public facilities would be improved further besides creating and providing basic facilities for those who are without such facilities in the Inderwal constituency.

Saroori also visited the residence of many deceased to personally console the death of Abdul Wahid Zargar resident of Bugrana, Munshi Ram resident of Dugga, Soni Begum resident of Gujjar Basti Neju, Abdul Latief resident of Lass, Abdul Hameed resident of Tatani Saroor and Irshad Ahmed Wani from Sheri Chatroo who passed away few days ago.

Mr. Saroori stayed with the bereaved families and expressed his sympathy and solidarity with them, consoled the family members and prayed to the Almighty Allah for eternal peace to the departed souls. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength to the family members of the deceased to bear irreparable loss. At Sheri Chatroo Saroori announces Rs one lakh out of his CDF for construction of bathroom.

Later many hardcore worker of ruling National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party from Tanta and Sarthal area including Mohd Ramzan, Mohd Ashraf Mir, Fareed Ahmed, Gulshan Ahmed, Abdul Kabir, Atta Mohd and others joins Congress party in presence of Mr. Saroori at his residence Kishtwar.

Prominent among those Senior Congress Leader Mustaq Ahmed Hap, Sarpanches of the area including Akhtar Hussain Tatani, Firdous Ahmed (Zahid), Bashir Ahmed Hajam, Ved Prakash, Local Congress Leaders Master Sharief, Mohd Abdullah, Mohd Sultan Malik, Hari Ram, Ashok Kumar, Jagdeesh Raj, Ghulam Nabi, Mohd Issaq, Altaf Hussain Malik, Mohd Amin Naik, Bashir Malik, Bidya Lal, Santosh Kumar, officers of various departments beside people in large accompanied Mr. Saroori during the said tour.
