Prayed for well-being for flood sufferers in Kashmir valley
Srinagar, September 26: - Senior Congress leader and Leader of Opposition (LOP) in Rajya Sabha, Ghulam Nabi Azad and G. M. Saroori-Former Minister & MLA today greeted people of Jammu and Kashmir state on the auspicious period of Navratra's.
In his message of felicitation, Azad highlighted the State's rich tradition of celebrating the holy occasions and observed that the Navratra's have a special significance for the devotees, who visit the Holy Caves in large numbers during this period.
As the people of Jammu and Kashmir grapple with the aftermath of a colossal calamity, Saroori wish and pray for their early embarkation on the path of recovery, reconstruction, prosperity and progress.
I hope that this auspicious occasion would also be the harbinger of harmony, brotherhood, amity, sustained peace in the State.
