Donate generously to enable affected people to survive and to rebuild their lives: Saroori

Relief Material dispatched for flood hit area Srinagar from Kishtwar and Bhalessa areas

Kishtwar, September 17: - In Kishtwar district and Bhalessa area the relief consignments continued in coordination with Kishtwar based NGOS, committees of various villages including Sarthal, Malik Nar, Kuchal, Sigdi, Kuriya, Keshwan, Chatroo, Zeydhar, Kishtwar, Baitul Maal Moharwari, Madra’s, Thathri, Phigsoo, Khara, from Bhalessa Hazrat Alhaj Ghulam Qadir Gani Puri sb extended help to victims in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir and dispatched relief materials.

The team comprised of various volunteers including Ishtiyaq Malik, Ghulam Mohd, Asgar Ahanger, Abdul Majeed Khan, Riaz Hajam, Bashir Hajam, Amin Zargar, Ikhlaq Ahmed Dev, Asgar Khangi, Abid Hussain, Abdul Rashid Raina, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Mohammad Ibrahim Sheikh, Nazir Ahmed Sheikh, Shabir Naik, Jawaz Malik, Altaf Malik and others who helped in collecting the donations from the general public and in buying relief for the victims in there particular villages. All the volunteers from Bhalessa, Sarthal, Khara who leaves for Srinagar stayed at MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori residence Kishtwar and in the morning they left for Srinagar with several trucks loaded with essential commodities including baby food, 2000 blankets, rice, medicine, vegetables, Soybean, mineral water, candells, oil, clothes etc were sent today to valley via the solitary route Kishtwar-Sinthan.

MLA Inderwal G M Saroori today said “We are aware of the harrowing time, the people of Jammu and Kashmir are going through due to landslides and floods since September 05, 2014. He also requested all people’s to stand shoulder to shoulder with our state Jammu and Kashmir and to support in this hour of crisis.To support the victims who have suffered extensive devastation, Saroori made an appeal is being issued to all the people to come forward and donate generously to enable affected people to tide over the calamity, to survive and to rebuild their lives.

Later Asif Iqbal Youth Congress member from Khara area of district Kishtwar met with MLA Inderwal G M Saroori and appraised him about day to day problem faced by general public of Kencha, Khara, Duggi, Nagni, and Bitola areas. He highlighted various issues including relief for those whose houses, livestock's, property got damaged in recent rainfall, land compensation and completion of Kahara Jai road, Transformer and water pipelines for the Bajnora and Gujjar Basti areas.

Youth Congress Khara also thanked MLA Inderwal for sanctioning various administrative units, 5 no.Health sub-centers and for sanctioning the 63KV transformer for the Kencha area. Saroori gave patient hearing and assured that genuine demands of Khara belt will be redressed soon on top priority.
