Azad, Prof Soz, Vikar, Saroori reach flood hit areas of Beerwah

Jammu, Sept 23:

Ghulam Nabi Azad-MP, Leader of Opposition Rajaya Sabha and Prof. Saifuddin Soz-MP, former Union Minister and President JKPCC visited today several villages in Beerwah Constituency of district Budgam which were affected by recent devastating floods, both the leaders assured the people that Congress party will provide every possible help to them.

They visited flood affected areas like Gouripora, Soazait, Narbal, Gagarrpora, Check-Kauossa, Yarigound, Batapora-Kanihama, Rasoo, Sonoor-Kalipora, Chaira, Sehpora, Peathmukam, Hanjibug, Paripora, Arwah and Beerwah-town.

Addressing the people at various places both the leaders Azad and Prof Soz explain to the people that they have come to them to convey that they and Congress party cadres would remain steadfast with the affected people and do every possible help to mitigate their sufferings. They also assured them that Congress party would ensure proper compensation to the loss suffered by the people in the recent devastating floods.

They were accompanied by Vikar Rasool Wani-Minster, Ghulam Mohd. Saroori-MLA, Ghulam Nabi Monga (MLC) Vice President JKPCC, Nazir Khan-Secretary JKPCC, Master Maqbool, Munshi Sajad Hussian and others.
