BJP Fears Assembly Elections Results, So Talking About One Nation, One Election: GA Mir

Review party functionaries in Raipur Domana, Rajouri, Darhal and Suchetgarh Assembly segments

Jammu, August 14: - BJP fears the results of Assembly elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh due in November/December this year, so it is diverting attention of the nation by talking about one nation, one election and talks of simultaneous polls to the Lok Sabha and Assembly, said JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir.

Addressing a series of interaction with prominent leaders and delegates of the party from different assembly sections of Raipur Domana, Rajouri, Darhal and Suchetgarh today at Congress HQ, JKPCC Chief Shri G.A. Mir said that there are clear indications that BJP is losing power in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh etc in view of dismal performance of the BJP governments in States and at the Centre. It would be pre-final to the Lok sabha election due in April-May next, hence the Modi government and BJP talks of One Nation-One Election.

He said Modi government has proved to be utter failure on all its poll promises like bringing back Black money and depositing 15 Lac in the account of every citizen, 2 crores jobs per year to the youths, bring down the prices of all commodities, end corruption and for working for the welfare of poor, downtrodden, farmers and labour class. He said prices have touched all time high, government fleecing the consumers on petrol, diesel and gas rates, jobs are nowhere as promised, while money from banks have been looted and looters of white money and bank Loans allowed to fly outside country, instead of bringing Black Money, Refale deal is the biggest example of the Modi govt’s transparency in one of the biggest defense deals, demonetization is example of the Modi’s concern for poor and it shows how rich and capitalist were benefitted in the process.

He said BJP gave slogan of India Shining in 2004 but lost elections, the mood is similar in the nation now as every section feels deceived by Modi Ji’s “Jumlasbazi” and BJP’s politics of divide and rule. The people in the country want change.

He also questioned the BJP to count a single achievement in the state except vitiating the atmosphere of peace and harmony and creating hatred and division in the society. He said the opportunist and power hungry alliance of PDP-BJP proved to be the worst ever and brought lot of sufferings and miseries to the people of the state. The security environment was worst and borders witnessed largest number of casualities.

PCC Chief also questioned the authority of a ruling party General secretary to announce about the new Governor for the State. It is unusual and lowers the prestige of highest constitutional office of Governor. He said that he is not the spokesman of Rashtrapati Bhawan, as no one else can announce so. Probably Shri N.N. Vohra is working impartially and BJP is uncomfortable with his good decisions in larger interest of public.

Former Ministers & JKPCC Vice Presidents Shri Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla & G.M. Saroori (MLA), Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma attended these interactions.

Senior leaders of respective constituencies led their deputations. They include R.S. Chib, Ch. Gharu Ram (Suchetgarh), Shabir Khan (Rajouri), Iqbal Malik (Darhal), Hari Singh Chib DCC President Jammu rural, Ch. Sukhdev Singh, Ch. Mohan Singh, Rajni Bala, Iftikhar Ahmad, Shafiq Mir, Ch. Masood and others.
