Ghulam Nabi Azad to become next Chief Minister
Conducted extensive tour of sub-division Thathri; Five dozens political activists joined Congress
THATHRI, AUGUST 01: - Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Vice President and MLA Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori declared that Congress will spring a big surprise in 2019 assembly elections by registering a significant victory in all the regions of Jammu and Kashmir State.
MLA Inderwal was addressing series of workers meeting in sub-division Thathri areas including Loopa, ST Basti Loopa, Hajam Mohalla, Upper Thathri, Nowtas Rangolla, Batara, Tipri and Dak Bungalow Thathri said we will emerge as a strong force and a dominant player in all the regions under the leadership of Ghulam Nabi Azad who will be the future Chief Minister of our state”, he said and adding that his party will prove the political pundits right by getting supremacy in all the regions as well.
Saroori said the party was committed to upholding the rights and dignity of the people and would continue to fight for the interests of the State. He said the current political dispensation at the helm of affairs posed numerous challenges to the State’s unity, integrity and political identity. He said the party was open to everyone who wanted to serve the people of the State and would empower them to fight the myriad challenges the State is faced with. “As more and more dedicated, well-meaning and competent faces continue to join the party, we are going to reach out to all the people and take them on board to evolve solutions to the political, social and economic problems the State is faced with.
He said that talking of youth does not suit the opposition parties (PDP, BJP) and when the party came to power forget it all-together “get only indulged in backdoor engagements marring the genuine rights and qualification of youth in general”. He said how far PDP and BJP is concerned about the welfare of youth is amply clear by the path breaking initiatives and historic measures his government took to enhance job opportunities for youth both in the government and the private sectors.
Saroori also described the statement of opposition leaders and allegations against Congress as ‘barking up the wrong tree’ and a sheer example of political tactics of circulating feelers. He said opposition parties are finding themselves in between the sky and the deep sea for their failures, falsehood and machination, as such resorts to blame game and mud throwing to divert the attention of people.
Mr. Saroori also welcomed five dozens political activists including founding member of PDP in Inderwal in his party and wish them the best in their endeavour to serve the people”, the state Congress vice president said.
Speaking on the occasion, the new entrants reposed their faith in the party and said Congress has a glorious and valiant history of fighting for the rights and interests of the people and it is this goal that he would nurture and contribute towards.
