CHATROO/SIGDI, SEPTEMBER 04: - Member of Legislative Assembly from Inderwal, Ghulam Mohammad Saroori inaugurated the newly constructed Guest House at Sinthan maindan of tehsil Chatroo executed by the Public Works department at an estimated cost of Rs 34.27 lakhs.
Mr. Saroori said that the Guest House will add accommodation for the tourists as Allah has bestowed us a beautiful place Sinthan in the region. MLA Inderwal was informed by the officials of R&B that Rs. 15 crores blacktopping work on Sinthan top would be expended on this project which would ensure several restoration works on this vital road including black topping and other requisite works.
The MLA Inderwal directed the concerned R&B officials to ensure that the work is done expeditiously for its timely completion. Mr. Saroori appreciated the performance of R&B for taking forward the development plans in the sub-division Chatroo. He asked them to gear up the tempo of the work and try to complete the projects ahead of their schedules.
After inauguration, Mr. Saroori met with various deputations at Sinthan Chatroo and said that “it is our duty to serve the people who have pinned their expectation with us. He said every effort is being made to ensure equitable development across the Inderwal constituency. He said the plans framed for development of Inderwal will transform the economic status of this constituency.
MLA Inderwal also addressed series of public meetings here at Sinthan maidan, Sigdi, Mulchitter, Gugnaar, Shah Mohallah, Dharwal Mohallah, Mugalmaidan areas of sub-division Chatroo.
Expressing commitment for speedy disposal of the problems of the public, Mr. Saroori has said that he would left no stone unturned in providing basic amenities to the people of Inderwal constituency. He also said that blacktopping work on all the three vitals roads including Markhal, Sigdi and Bhata have been started which is being executed by PMGSY department and said within a year the blacktopping work will be completed. He also emphasized that the prime motto of his as MLA is to address the all public issues on priority basis. He said that Congress is committed to reach up to the last man living in the most neglected sections of the society.
On the occasion prominent BJP, PDP and NC activists from Mulchitter Sigdi joined Congress and said that the slogans of change and “achhe din” had proved to be a hoax. They said they were motivated by the people friendly policies of the Congress.
Describing the joining of political activists as a welcome step, Saroori welcomed the newly joined workers into the party fold and said “Congress will give due honour to each worker”. He expressed hope that with the joining of the workers, the Congress will strengthen its base at the grassroots level in the area and said It is high time to further spread message of the party in every village and hamlet of Jammu and Kashmir particularly erstwhile district Doda. He further said and asserted that policies and programmes of the party were formulated by incorporating wishes of every section of the society.
Earlier Mr. Saroori along with ADC Kishtwar Kishore Lal visited Mugalmaidan to identify the land for the construction of infrastructure under Kishtwar-Sinthan tourism projects to be executed by Kishtwar Development Authority.
