Destruction and violence is not going to lead us anywhere: Saroori



 
 
“Kishtwar Blue Saphire hotel Inaugurated”

Kishtwar, October 15: - Blue Saphire hotel in Kishtwar, was inaugurated by Member of Legislative Assembly from Inderwal, G. M Saroori on Thursday here in presence of a rich gathering comprising bureaucrats, police officials, businessmen, members of various traders’ associations and people from different walks of life.


While inaugurating the newly hotel & restaurant owned by Ranjeet Singh, Saroori appealed the people of J&K to maintain calm, peace and brotherhood and not fall prey to the machinations of divisive elements. He said that whatever has happened in the last one month in India is heart-rending and deeply agonizing but there is no way to come out of this morass, except by once again charting on the course of peace and harmony.


"Both communities (Hindus and Muslims) since time immemorial have maintained mutual harmony and brotherhood.”However, some vested communal powers are hell-bent to tarnish the fabric of mutual brotherhood in India as well in J&K," the MLA Inderwal G. M Saroori said.


Exhorting people to recall their age old traditions of amity and brotherhood, Saroori maintained that to defeat the nefarious designs of disruptive forces, people should demonstrate exemplary brotherhood and unity.


"As people of various religions will live together in the State, like they have been living since hundreds of years, it is of utmost importance to maintain harmony and peaceful co-existence", Saroori said and adding that destruction and violence is not going to lead us anywhere, except inflicting lasting injury to the psyche of the people.


"Need of the hour is to catch up with rest of the world and create a future for our youth which is full of promise and hope rather than besmirched with gloom and regression", added Saroori.


While congratulating the owner of the Blue Saphire, Saroori said that restaurants and hotels are the part and parcel of development of the area. He hopes that more people will come forward in the field of hotels and restaurants so that the demand of accommodation as well as food industry could be meted out.


Saroori stress upon the owner of the hotel to maintain quality and hygiene inside the restaurant and extended him his best wishes for his success.


Other who speaks on the occasion including Raj Kumar Badyal, Ghulam Haider Sheikh (Congress), Shakeel Ahmed Kamal (National Conferene), Anil Parihar, Bharat Bushan Sen (BJP) and Abdul Gani Shah (Huriyat) expressed concerned over the spreading tentacles of communalism in politics adding that it was a dangerous trend which if not contained effectively could be detrimental for the secular and democratic credentials of the country. They called upon all the secular and peace loving people of the country and State to join hands to defeat nefarious designs of communal and fanatic forces saying that there was no place for such elements in a secular and democratic country like India.


They said politics based on Caste, Region and Religion has time and again been rejected by the politically emancipated people of India and the State. “Stressing that once again such communal forces need to be rejected by the people across the country lest they dent the secular and democratic credentials of India”, they added and congratulated the owner of the Blue Saphire hotel.


They further said that with the opening of this hotel, the employees working in new DC Office complex, and other government departments besides general public of Kishtwar will get easy access to food items at the need of hour.


Prominent among those SSP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas, Executive Engineer R&B Mahinder Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed Hap, Mahinder Singh Parihar, Mohd Aslam Saroori, Mansoor Ahmed Mattoo, Bidya Lal Sharma, Mohd Iqbal Keen, Khalid Hussain, Piyaray Lal Sharma, Santosh Kumar, Noor Hussain, Ravi Kumar, Ashok Badyal, Roshan Lal, Lekh Raj, Randeep Bhandari besides galaxy of people were present on the occasion.
