Seven schools of Inderwal constituency to have model schools


Project shall be completed in three months; More to come for Inderwal: Saroori

Kishtwar, October 17: - A total seven Government schools in Inderwal constituency are going to have Computer Aided Learning (CAL) centers with Smart Class learning facility, Smart class rooms with large interactive board, with LCD projector and visual presenter for the students.


This was said by G. M Saroori MLA from Inderwal while meeting with various deputations, individuals here at his residence Kishtwar. The schools which will be constructed on modern patterns are Government High School Sarthal, HS Chingam, HS Inderwal, HSS Malanoo, HSS Thathri, Middle School Lower Bendhera and Middle School Pyakul.


Not only this, a Computer Lab is also being set in each school, having power back up of 3 KVA generator for uninterrupted power supply and voltage stabilizers besides at least three KVA UPS systems (online), with one hour back up. In the project it has also involved in the modernization of the school class rooms with advanced technology has put the estimated cost of Rs 5.75 lakhs for providing these facilities in each school. A Laptop with 13 configurations costing at least Rs 45,000 is also being provided to make the Smart Class rooms functional. Besides these three computers, four computer tables and same number of computer chairs with networking accessories for five systems are also being provided. The project shall be completed in three months.


MLA Inderwal G. M Saroori in his statement outlined the importance of excellence in education so that youth are accustomed to modern methods of teaching to cope with greater challenges ahead in the field of academics. He said technology has shrunk world into a global village where competition is becoming tougher by the day. He said the talent of our youth needs to be channelized properly so as to prepare them for the world of cut throat competition. He also said that more schools in Inderwal constituency will be constructed on modern lines as well as teaching.

Meanwhile student community has thanked Member of Legislative Assembly G. M Saroori for choosing their schools for model schools. They said that the students with this facility will be able to connect with other parts of the country and visualize seminars and other education related programmes. This system will open a new window of knowledge for the students especially from the remote and far flung areas of the Sarthal, Chatroo, Chingam, Kontwara, Saroor, Thathri, Kahara and other areas.
