JK state requires the leadership of Azad

Autonomy has lost its creditability already, in other words it has been rejected by the people of the state.

KISHTWAR, APRIL 19: - Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori realizing the absence of Ghulam Nabi Azad in state politics said that at this stage Jammu and Kashmir state requires the guidance and leadership of experienced and matured politician like Former Chief Minister and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.

He said that the congress will alone contest assembly election 2014 in the state and will win all the seats on its own credential, because the people are well aware about their rights and they cannot be befooled any more. The much hipped autonomy has lost its credential and have been rejected by the people of state as well country.

Prizing the role of Azad, Saroori said that the tourism in Kashmir was limited to few points, but establishing Tulip Garden in Kashmir it boost the tourism potential in Kashmir, the historic decision of creating 8 new districts, 11 new Tehsils and 3 sub-divisions have opened the new window for the people of J&K State no one else have the capability of taking this decision except Azad. Not only this but the construction of link roads through PMGSY all over in J&K State, allocating more funds for Mugal road construction from 239 crores to 635 Crores, construction of Yatri Bhawan at Jammu and Haj House in Kashmir, special arrangements for yataries, is also the virtue of Azad, who also arranged special compensation from Prime Minister for J&K state, besides this development of Bhag E Bahu , Gulf course Jammu, creating dozen parking places at Jammu, creating of Maharaj Hari Singh Park, framing the master plan for diverting the water of River Chenab towards Jammu is another land mark achievement of Ghulam Nabi Azad.

It was the regime of Azad Sahib as Chief Minister of J&K State was a Golden opportunity for the people of state, as all Districts get the District Headquarters, with ITI Colleges, polytechnic and other facilities.

Saroori said that widening of Bhaderwah – Bunjwah road, converting of Thathri –Kholotran road into double line, Bunjwah, Kurya Keshwan, Singhpora road, Sarthal Devi Ji Road, Khara Jaie - Gundoh road, and approval of several projects in Kashmir and Ladakh provinces was a step for providing equal developments in all three provinces.

Azad during his tours to various areas of State as Chief Minister, he took local MLAs into confidence irrespective of their party affiliation. Remembering the contributions of Azad in this state he that J&K needs the leader and guidance of Ghulam Nabi Azad at this crucial stage.
